Every year, TeamTV meets to discuss progress, conduct and modify policy, elect Executive Committee members, collect yearly membership subscriptions and most importantly, look towards the future!

We have been extremely pleased with the turnout to this meeting (considering there is a general aversion to all AGM's!) and the enthusiasm and dedication of all our members! This is of course also true on shoot, which has been contributing to our increasingly cinematic and quality work on our feature-length project, "Another Life", scheduled to finish shooting in August 2007.

We now have one of the largest membership bases we have ever had, and although not everyone can attend every week - we're very excited about the way things are going!

We don't want to give away too much about the future, considering our very exciting project of our first feature-film, but to give everyone a good idea of what we've been talking about, and how pleased we are with our progress so far, below is the Chairman's report for 2006-2007!

24th May 2007

"The past year has been extremely productive for TeamTV, with “V3”, “Flying Apart”, “Interrogation Scene”, “Pub watch 2007 Bar Accreditations and Awards Ceremony”, and of course our current production, “Another Life”. We have also relocated from the Kings Tavern to here, and Larry has put together the new Web site.

Our productions have taken on a much more professional standard, with the results showing just how far we have come on. New techniques (we new to us) and new equipment have allowed us to prove that quality no-to-low budget films are a reality.
None of what have achieved could possibly have happened without the continued support and enthusiasm from all of you. The prime objective of TeamTV is to “encourage amateur talent to flourish” – and it certainly has done so.

“V3” – one of Larry’s projects, has attracted international acclaim on the web, with just a little controversy!

“Flying Apart” has also attracted some good comments on the Web – well done to Stuart and everyone involved.

The “Interrogation Scene” was a quick project that was designed to test out various lighting and camera techniques. The result was rather good.

We were invited to video the “Pub watch 2007 Bar Accreditations and Awards Ceremony”. This event was filmed with three video cameras and backed up with a still camera. The resulting images were projected live at Jongleurs Bar during the ceremony and footage presented to the organisers. Hopefully some paid corporate work will follow.

“Another Life” – my little baby. We have pushed the boat out with this one! With Professional Talent both in front of the camera and behind. I am in awe of the sheer professionalism from everyone involved in this project. Thank you everyone.

The new website is simply awesome. It is of course another Larry project. The “hits” are increasing weekly, attracting potential members and fellow enthusiasts alike.
The relocation to here has been a great success. Although we have to pay rent for meeting at RISC, we have got away from the pub surroundings that simply were not the image we wanted to attract new members. The other upside is that we don’t have to pay pub prices for drinks – we can simply bring our own if we wish.
On the equipment front, between us we have some great kit available – including HD technology. With new lights, Fig Rig, Location Radios and a second edit suite, we are well prepared for today’s projects and well into the future.

Talking of the future, we do need to plan for life after “Another Life”. Although the edit and other post-production work will take us well beyond the end of 2007, we do need to have further projects in pre-production stages if we are to keep the enthusiasm going. That, my friends, is up to you. Bring your ideas and thoughts to our meetings. Let us help you make your babies. Ooh-err missus!

TeamTV is stronger today than it has ever been. Although we have fewer members than we have had in the past, the enthusiasm and dedication is immeasurable. The spirit is strong and the bodies are willing. What more do we need?"
